Technicians Center: Our Trainers

Mike O'Neil

Mike started his career at Spartan Chassis in the Fall of 1991. A natural mechanic and technician, Mike continued to gather technical skills working in motorhome chassis production and fire truck cab production. Mike's hard work and refined skills were rewarded when he was promoted to Quality Control on the motorhome line.

The Customer Service Department recruited Mike to assist customers as a telephone technician. In this position, he recognized the need to add chassis training to the customer service program and was a key player in the creation of the motorhome training program at Spartan Chassis.

After gaining diesel engine experience outside of Spartan, Mike returned to Spartan Chassis where he currently holds the position of Technical Trainer. He is qualified and skilled in both motorhome and fire truck vocations. He holds five ASE Medium/Heavy Duty certifications and diligently pursues his own continuing education in this fast paced marketplace.

Watch for him at the Spartan Homecoming and at Rallies across the country. If you see a long line you can bet that Mike is the cause of it, because hundreds of customers and technicians are willing to wait for hours to listen and learn from what Mike has to say.
