SPARTAN HAS EXTENSIVE ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE IN CREATING VEHICLE CHASSIS THAT PERFORM SPECIALIZED TASKS.

Spartan holds a competitive advantage due to its engineering reaction time, manufacturing expertise and flexibility. This expertise allows specialized designs based on individual customer specifications. Spartan's engineering and manufacturing expertise resulted in the efficient and effective production of ~760 fire truck cab/chassis in 2007 for approximately 50 OEMs across the U.S. & Canada.

Approximately 3,000 RV chassis units were also produced during the same time period. The units consisted of ~60 highly customized designs requested by four OEMs.

Spartan has 11 state-of-the-art buildings and operation facilities for a total of 741,137 square feet of manufacturing space.

Spartan has applied these same innovative engineering and manufacturing techniques to support the defense industry. America's leading defense contractors rely on Spartan for chassis component integration, final assembly, sequencing and assembling components for upfits, and providing service, parts and accessories for several vehicles under the MRAP Program.
